English Advertisement
Advertisement...
Hello People !!! How are you ? Today I want to discuss about advertisement. we know that advertisement is the short information about a product.
As we can see, we can find the some differences between the Indonesian and English advertisement. There are visualization, grammar, design, and many more. Sometimes, we find some Indonesian advertisements have many different grammar, there are formal and informal or slang language and grammar. Those languages and grammars in each advertisements have their own function and market target. Now I will discuss a little about Indonesian formal and slang advertisements.
Sometimes we find some Indonesian advertisements
use formal and elegant language that can create the nice grammar. We usually find
a good Indonesian language and grammar in some big companies with a famous
products. Why ? because they want to show their quality. Not just in product,
but some big companies believe that a good product comes from a good
advertisement. From the design, the Formal Indonesian advertisements have a
simple but compact design. We can easily understand what are they mean from
their advertisements. For example, if an automotive company want to promote their new car, they just need to
show the new car picture and the company logo and some Indonesian simple sentences
that can defining the new car. Just from the famous company or brand logo, we
know that the company just promote their new product from the simple
advertisement.
We not always find advertisements with
good grammar. Sometimes we find some advertisement with an Indonesian slang
language and grammar. We usually find these advertisements in products for teenager
there are shit, T-shirt, pants, shoes, etc. because some teens not too like a
formal language and grammar, because they can be look like the old people. That’s
why, some Indonesian teens just like the slang language and grammar because
that is an easy and enjoy language. That’s why the apparel producer of teenager
product in Indonesia use a simple slang language and grammar in their
advertisements to make Indonesian teenager easily understand and accept their
products.
After we discuss about Indonesian formal
and slang advertisements, I will discuss about the English advertisements. As we
can see wherever we are, the advertisements by using English language always
look great, whatever the products that they offer. English advertisements just
use a simple formal grammar and very simple but amazing design. For example,
Google ,inc. if Google want to show their new product, just show the new logo,
and add a simple sentence that can defining the new product. We directly know that Google
just launched their new product from their new advertisement.
English advertisements sometimes have a
slang language. But they have their own design that can difference the formal
and slang advertisements. Just like almost all of advertisements, slang
language and grammar in English advertisements are used for teenager products. The
language and grammar are never change, but the styles are always change
according to the time changes. These English advertisements style always be a
standard of all teens products around the world. That means that all
advertisements in the world including Indonesia, will always follow the new English
advertisements from the Big country. Just like USA, or England.
From this article, we know that not too
hard to compare Indonesian and English advertisement. We know that Indonesian
advertisements will follow the English advertisement from a big country including
style, language, grammar, design, etc. But doesn’t mean that Indonesian
advertisements always follow the English advertisements. Sometimes Indonesian
advertisements designer have “out of the box” designs for their advertisements.
For the formal or slang language and
grammar, they are not directly show us the difference, about to whom these
products are for. So that’s why different languages and grammars are used to many
kind of different advertisements in Indonesian or English advertisement.
